Essential browser storage keeps you signed in, remembers your analytics choice, and briefly preserves an account-deletion result. Optional Google Analytics 4 loads only after you allow it. Rejecting analytics leaves sign-in, articles, and tools available.
This notice covers cookies, local storage, and session storage. Moow does not enable advertising cookies or advertising features. Continuing to browse or acknowledging an older storage notice does not enable analytics.

Essential local storage that records the choice version, whether you allowed or rejected analytics, and the time. The choice is valid for 180 days; after that, analytics waits for a new choice. You can change it sooner in Cookie settings.
moow-account-deletion-receipt-v1
Temporary session storage containing only the deletion outcome and time, with no email address, account ID, or sign-in token. It keeps the result available after a refresh in the same tab for up to 30 minutes. An expired result is removed the next time Moow checks it. It is also cleared when a new sign-in or signup establishes a session, or when the browser ends the tab’s session.
_ga and _ga_<ID>
Optional first-party Google Analytics cookies that distinguish browsers and sessions for website traffic reports. They are set only after you allow analytics, expire after 180 days without renewal on each visit, and are removed when you reject analytics in Cookie settings. Browser settings may shorten their lifetime.

An older notice acknowledgement may remain in local storage until you save a new analytics choice or clear browser storage. It does not allow analytics.
Advertising
Moow does not load advertising cookies or retargeting pixels, or enable Google Analytics advertising features.
1. Why essential storage is used
Account-session storage keeps you signed in. Choice storage remembers whether optional analytics is allowed, including when you reject it. The temporary deletion receipt explains whether a request completed, is still being processed, or could not be confirmed after the local session has been cleared. These essential entries are not sent to Google Analytics.
2. External font delivery
The website currently requests font files through Google Fonts. That request may reveal ordinary connection information such as IP address, browser information, and request time to the font provider. Moow does not use that request to build an advertising profile.
3. Reliability reports
The website sends limited failure reports to Moow’s API containing a failure type and broad page category. These report payloads exclude account identifiers, sign-in tokens, full page URLs, and page content; they do not create browser storage. Hosting infrastructure still receives ordinary connection information such as IP addresses.
4. Optional website analytics
After you allow it, Google Analytics counts public page views and successful early-access requests to produce aggregate reports about page activity, approximate country, device and browser use, and referral sources. Google receives ordinary connection information and uses cookie identifiers to distinguish browsers. Moow does not send your account ID or connect these reports to your account.
Measurement excludes private account, administration, sign-in, and invitation pages. Analytics data excludes URL query strings and fragments, search text, submitted email addresses, device choices and other form values, health records, calculator inputs and results, and AI conversations. Article and coach-profile visits are grouped without their individual page names; external referrals include only the referring site. Automatic form and interaction tracking, session replay, and advertising features are not enabled.

5. Change your choice
Open Cookie settings in the website footer to allow or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting it stops future collection in that browser and removes the website’s Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data Google already received. Each browser keeps its own choice, independently of your Moow account and the mobile app’s analytics control.
You can also clear site storage in browser settings. Doing so signs out the Moow session stored in that browser, removes any temporary deletion receipt, and causes the analytics choice to appear again. Blocking storage can prevent sign-in persistence and deletion-result recovery after a refresh from working.
