Coffee

Have these measured and ready before you begin.

  • 1/2 cup plus 1 1/2 tablespoons (140 ml) cold water
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons (25 ml) finely ground Turkish coffee

Directions

1. Pour the cold water into a cezve, a small long-handled Turkish coffee pot.

2. Add the finely ground coffee and stir until combined.

3. Set over low heat and cook without further stirring until foam rises toward the rim; remove before it boils over and divide between two cups.
