Cheese Gözleme

Have these measured and ready before you begin.

  • 1 1/2 cups (180 g) all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) warm water, added gradually
  • 6 ounces (170 g) feta, crumbled

Directions

1. Mix the flour and salt; add the water gradually and knead into a smooth, moderately soft dough.

2. Divide into 3 portions, cover, and rest 30 minutes.

3. Roll each portion thinly on a lightly floured surface.

4. Place crumbled cheese on one half of each round, fold the dough over, and seal the edges.
