Ingredients

Have these measured and ready before you begin.

  • 5 tbsp strained yogurt; use Greek yogurt
  • 1 ounce (28 g) feta, crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated or crushed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) dried mint
  • 4-5 sprigs dill
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1/2 teaspoon (33 ml by volume) finely ground walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt

Directions

1. Warm the olive oil in a small skillet, toast the walnuts for about 2 minutes, and cool.

2. Mash the garlic and feta, and finely chop the dill.

3. Combine the strained yogurt, cheese, garlic, dill, dried mint, cooled walnuts and oil, and salt in a bowl.

4. Mix until evenly blended, transfer to a serving dish, and serve cold.
