Cookie Dough
Have these measured and ready before you begin.
- 2 large eggs
- about 2/3 U.S. cup (150 ml by volume) packed brown sugar
- 50 g butter (1.8 oz)
- 8 ounces (225 g) dark chocolate, chopped
- about 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon (100 ml by volume) all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
1. Melt the butter and pour it over the finely chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth; set aside.
2. Beat the eggs and brown sugar until pale and thick.
3. Beat in the melted chocolate mixture on low speed.
4. Sift in the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt and fold with a spatula.
5. Press wrap directly onto the dough and chill at least 30 minutes, until scoopable.
6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
7. Let the cookies cool completely before moving them with a spatula.
