Ingredients

Have these measured and ready before you begin.

  • 1 banana
  • 1 egg
  • scant 1/2 cup (100 ml) 2% milk
  • 6 tbsp rolled oats
  • 30 g (about 1/3 cup) protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon neutral oil, for the skillet

Directions

1. Pulse the oats in a food processor until finely ground.

2. Mash the banana in a bowl, then whisk in the egg and milk. Stir in the ground oats.

3. Add the protein powder and mix until the batter is smooth.

4. Heat a lightly greased nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Pour in small portions of batter and cook until the edges set, then flip and cook through.

5. Serve warm, with fruit or peanut butter if desired.
